專為管理者設計之課程。本課教授如何設立並成功地維護 ArcGIS Server，GIS 內容著作、發佈透過企業內部或 Web 分享，組織有效率之策略確保效能、安全性、可靠度。了解 ArcGIS Server 架構與對於管理 GIS 服務、應用程式、資料、使用者、伺服器之工作流程。學習關於效能、安全性... 等最佳做法。

GIS 專家、系統管理者或被賦予設立、管理、支援 ArcGIS Server 系統之使用者。欲學習設立、維護使用 ArcSDE 技術的多使用者。地理資料庫之 GIS 資料庫管理者應先參與其他課程，如：Data Management in the Multiuser Geodatabase、ArcGIS Server Enterprise Configuration and Tuning for Oracle、ArcGIS Server Enterprise Configuration and Tuning for SQL Server。

• 使用最佳做法安裝與設定一個彈性的 ArcGIS Server 系統。
• GIS 服務與資源之存取權限管理。
• 建立 ArcGIS Server search 服務，以有效的尋找與存取 GIS 資源。
• 以實作服務快取來最佳化效能。
• 調整 GIS Server 與服務來最佳化效能。
• 設定 ArcSDE 以支援透過 feature services 與 geodata service 版本資料複製進行網頁編輯。
• 實作安全的 Web 應用程式與服務之存取。

第三天課程：

• Chapter 8：Map cache architecture （地圖快取架構）
• Chapter 9：Implementing map cache workflows（實施地圖快取工作流程）
• Chapter 10：Exploring Web security（設定 Web 安全性）
